Gateways Widget
A compact roster of gateways with their online/offline state at a glance. The Gateways widget puts gateway health on any dashboard, so users who don't have the Fleet view, including sub-account viewers, can still see whether their gateways are up.
What it shows
One row per gateway: a leading name column (with the gateway EUI underneath, optional), followed by the columns you choose. Columns can show an online/offline status chip, when the gateway was last heard from, and aggregated traffic and health stats.
The online/offline state matches the Fleet view exactly: a gateway is online when it has sent network status messages within the last 30 minutes, and offline when it hasn't. Inventory and archived gateways don't appear, since online/offline isn't a meaningful state for them.
Which gateways appear
Pick one of two modes when you configure the widget:
- All in scope - every gateway the viewer is allowed to see. On a partner or fleet dashboard that's all gateways in the partner; on a sub-account dashboard it's that sub-account's assigned gateways.
- Select gateways - a hand-picked set you choose from a list.
Either way, the widget is scoped to the person viewing it. A user restricted to one site sees only that site's gateways, even if the widget is set to "all" or a gateway outside their access was hand-picked. The widget can never widen what a customer is allowed to see.
In All in scope mode you can add optional Site and Network filters to narrow the list. These only narrow the view; they don't grant access.
Columns
Add up to eight columns. Each column is one of:

| RX ok | Uplink packets received without error, summed over the stat window. |
| TX | Packets transmitted, summed over the stat window. |
| CPU load | Average processor load over the stat window. |
| Memory | Average memory use over the stat window. |
| Temperature | Average gateway temperature over the stat window. |
Status and Last seen are read straight from the gateway. The rest are aggregated from gateway statistics over the stat window you set (24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days). For those numeric columns you can set the number of decimals and a unit suffix.

Tips
- For a sub-account customer dashboard, a single Gateways widget in "All in scope" mode gives the customer a live view of their own gateways with no Fleet access required.
- Keep it to Status and Last seen for an at-a-glance health tile; add the stat columns when you want traffic or hardware-health visibility.
- The widget refreshes on its own roughly once a minute, so an offline gateway turns over without a manual reload.
- On a dashboard shared by public link, the widget shows the same names, status, last seen, and stats, but never the gateway EUI, even with Show EUI on. "All in scope" means every gateway assigned to that account.
When to use a different widget
- For one gateway's stats charted over time (RX / TX, CPU, temperature) -> the gateway's Stats tab under Settings -> Gateways.
- For online vs offline gateways as a single number -> the Count widget, set to gateways.
- For gateway locations on a map -> a Geo map or Floor plan map widget with gateway markers.
