1.141.0 - September 2026

Developer's note

This month opens the Analytics beta, a self-service library of historical, multi-device visualizations that you can place on any dashboard; it is a plan feature and off by default. It also changes how computed values are kept: formulas, mappings and calibrations are now computed as each reading arrives and stored with it, so every surface shows one number and history stays as it was. Existing values were filled in automatically. Tell us what you build and if anything looks different from what you expect.

New features

  • Analytics (Beta). Build historical, multi-device visualizations from seven chart types (Bar, Pie, Scatter, Line, Area, Heatmap, Table), drill into them, and save them to a library (plan feature). See Analytics (Beta).
  • Visualizations on dashboards. Place any saved visualization on a dashboard with + Add visualization; tiles refresh on a schedule and drill in place. See Putting a visualization on a dashboard.
  • Group by hour of day or day of week. Any grouped chart can bucket readings by the hour or the weekday in your own time zone, which is what the Heatmap type is built on. See The Settings tab.
  • Formula and mapping fields in Analytics. A profile's formula fields and numeric mapping fields can be charted, filtered and downloaded like any reading, over any period and at any grain, and values everywhere in Analytics follow the decimals set on the field. See Formula and mapping fields in Analytics.
  • Download the data behind a chart. A download icon in Analytics and on every visualization tile hands you the rows on screen as CSV, at the level you have drilled to; authors can turn it off per visualization. A chart that would return too many rows is now refused with what to change instead of being cut short. See Downloading the data.
  • Enabling Analytics per account. Switch Pulse Analytics on per sub-account tier, cap saved visualizations per scope, and grant Manage analytics per role. See Analytics (Beta).
  • Computed values are stored with each reading. Formula fields, mapping fields and per-device calibrations are computed when a reading arrives and kept with it, so tiles, charts, downloads, workflows, integrations and Analytics show one number and earlier history stays as it was. See How computed values are stored.
  • Apply from, when you save. Saving a formula, a mapping or a calibration asks how far back it reaches: now, a date, or the earliest reading kept. See Apply from.
  • Recompute history. Rebuild a profile's computed values over a range, filling gaps or replacing them, with progress and a run list on the Fields tab. See Recompute history.
  • Semantic fields. Mark one field per profile as a common kind of reading, such as Temperature (°F) or Humidity (%), so Analytics, the Count widget and whole-account workflows read it from every device profile. See Semantic fields.
  • Computed values in integrations. Webhook readings, the live feed and the API carry a derived block beside the raw data with the profile's computed and calibrated values. See Webhooks and Endpoints.

Enhancements

  • Events tab lists computed values that failed. A reading whose formula or mapping could not be computed shows the field and the reason on the device's Events tab. See Derived value.
  • Moving hardware to inventory clears all of its data. Readings, events, downlink and command history, certifications, calibrations and gateway stats are deleted so the next customer starts clean, and the inventory limit now applies to moves back as well. See Moving a device back to inventory.
  • Inventory hardware in the API. Lists still include inventory devices and gateways with their status, but their live values are empty and reading from or sending to them answers 404. See Devices in inventory.

Bug fixes

  • Inventory hardware stays off live surfaces. Devices and gateways in inventory are no longer offered in dashboard widgets, Analytics, workflows, multi-cast groups or webhook filters, and anything still set up against them shows as not available. See What a device in inventory can't do.

1.138.4 - August 2026

Developer's note

This month brings a broad set of changes across workflows, dashboards, gateways, and text messaging. Each has been tested before release, but a change in one place can occasionally show up in unexpected ways elsewhere. If something does not behave as you expect, let us know and we will look into it right away.

New features

  • Workflows act on every matching reading. Every reading that passes a workflow's conditions runs its actions; pace it with a Throttle node or Max fires / hr. See How a workflow runs.
  • Acknowledging an alarm pauses its notifications until it recovers. The Status widget shows the pause with a Resume notifications undo. See Acknowledging an alert.
  • Offline alerts now work. "Time since last reading" workflows are checked every few minutes and recover when the device reports again.
  • Snooze a workflow. Put a workflow to sleep for 1 hour to 7 days; it wakes on its own. See Saving, switching on, and pausing.
  • Gateway workflows. New Single gateway and All gateways scopes alert once per incident when a gateway goes offline or switches to battery, with a recovery notice. See Gateway workflows.
  • Webhook action. Workflows can POST a signed JSON message to a URL of your choice, with a test button and a copyable signing secret (plan feature). See The webhook action.
  • Text message (SMS) alerts. A Send SMS action texts notification group members or up to 5 phone numbers, paid from prepaid SMS credits (plan feature). See SMS credits and Notification groups.
  • Recovery email switch. Send an all-clear to a workflow's email recipients when the alarm recovers (plan feature). See Modulators.
  • Share a dashboard with a public link. Open or password-protected, no sign-in needed; replace or turn off the link at any time. See Sharing a dashboard with a public link.
  • Viewer actions on shared dashboards. Password-protected links can allow Set values and Send commands to devices, each off by default.
  • Your logo on shared dashboards. Upload a Powered by logo under White Label -> Branding -> Portal options. See Public dashboard links.
  • Floor Plan pins flash when a device is alerting. On by default, per-pin switchable, and reduced-motion aware. See Alert flash.
  • See which gateway a device is talking through. Gateways gain a Devices tab and the device list an optional Last gateway column. See Devices.
  • Gateway power at a glance. Gateways that report power show Line power or On battery, backup battery charge, and every transition on the Activity tab. See Power source.
  • Downlink history. The Downlinks tab lists 12 months of commands with sender, status, filters, and CSV export, visible to every role. See Downlink history.
  • Reserve inventory devices for a customer. A Reserved for earmark that filters, exports, imports, and pre-selects the customer on assign. See Reserving devices for a customer.
  • Move a device back to inventory. Pull an assigned device back from the Device List or device page; its history is permanently deleted. See Moving a device back to inventory.

Enhancements

  • Throttle node. Limits its branch to one pass per time window; multiple Throttle nodes are allowed, one per branch.
  • Workflow history shows per-channel outcomes. Each run states what was sent, skipped, or failed, and why.
  • Disabling a workflow shows what it will clear. The confirmation lists active alarms and offers Snooze 24h instead.
  • Filter the workflow list by owner. Narrow the list to your workspace or a single customer account. See Ownership.
  • The Condition panel explains each condition. Includes an exact-match reminder when a number field is set to is. See Conditions.
  • Notification groups stay within their own account. Workspace-level groups are no longer offered to customer accounts. See Notification groups.
  • New end-user guide for notification groups. See Notification groups.
  • Actions taken by platform support are labeled as such. The audit log and acknowledged-by label show Platform support instead of "System". See Audit log.
  • Gateways and Geo map widgets now work on shared dashboards. See Sharing a dashboard with a public link.
  • Device and gateway lists remember your search and filters. Filters are part of the page address, so a filtered view can be bookmarked. See Your search and filters stay put.
  • Pause an integration without deleting it. Webhooks and Blues Notehub connections get a pause/resume switch on their row. See Pausing a webhook and Pausing a connection.
  • Webhook delivery logs are kept for 14 days. Pending deliveries are never removed. See Delivery log.
  • White Label settings reorganized into four tabs. Branding, Banner, Domain, and Email, with a single Branding Save. See Brand your workspace.
  • Support email is now the Reply-To on every email sent for you. See Support email.
  • The test email reports which sender path and Reply-To applied.
  • Inventory exports can be re-imported. The export gains Claimable and Reserved for columns and the importer skips report-only columns.
  • Deleting a customer account handles its devices properly. "Move to Inventory" now deletes device history and handles cellular devices.
  • Set a member's password from the Members page. Existing sessions are signed out; two-factor settings are untouched.
  • A banner when a payment is past due. The billing owner gets a Manage subscription button. See If a payment fails.

Bug fixes

  • Workspace Admins can now pick their notification groups in a workflow. The picker on Email and SMS actions no longer shows "No data". See Using a group in a workflow.
  • Stale "SMS recipients are coming soon" note removed.
  • Certification workflows honor their Fire mode, and snoozing them now works. See Triggers.
  • Alert email times now match the recipient's timezone and always name the zone. See Account settings.
  • Count widget appearance settings apply again. Hiding the header or background works.
  • Cellular and Blues Notehub devices can be bulk-assigned and claimed again. Both paths no longer expect LoRaWAN keys.
  • The webhook delivery log no longer opens to an endless spinner on busy integrations.
  • Customer accounts no longer see a Blues Notehub tab they can't use, and the Webhook tile shows a plan lock when not included.
  • The "Email 'from' name" branding field is gone; it never did anything. The sender name comes from From name under Send from your own domain.
  • Uploaded branding logos no longer break in the sidebar and on the sign-in page.
  • Branding no longer follows you out of a customer account.

Developer's note

A small one this week, but it removes a real annoyance. If you manage more than a handful of customer accounts, "wait, which account am I in right now?" is a question you should never have to ask. Now the answer is always right across the top of the page.

Enhancements

  • Always know which sub-account you are acting as. Scoping into a sub-account now shows a banner across the top of every page with that sub-account's name and a one-click Return to partner view action. It replaces the small generic indicator in the header, which was easy to miss and never told you which account you were in. See Sub-accounts.

1.131.2 - 23 July 2026

Developer's note

This week ioX-Pulse learns to speak Blues, and finally answers the question every fleet asks: how are the batteries doing? Workspaces can now connect a Blues Notehub project and have cellular Notecard devices land in Pulse like any other device. And battery levels now show up everywhere devices do: color-coded on the device list, next to the online status on every device page, on dashboards, in workflows, and in the API, even for devices that never send battery in their payload.

New features

  • Battery levels, everywhere. The device list gains a Battery column with a color-coded label (Good, Low, or Critical), and every device page shows the level next to its online status. Externally powered devices show Powered instead of a percentage. Many LoRaWAN devices report battery even when it is not part of their payload: the network collects it automatically a few times a day. Hover any battery value to see when the reading was taken. See Battery readings.

  • Mark your own battery field. If a device reports battery in its payload, the profile can mark that field with the new Battery (%) role and it becomes the device's single battery source across the platform. Formula fields qualify too, so devices that report battery voltage can be converted to a percentage. See The battery reading.

  • Battery on dashboards and in workflows. Bind Value and Gauge widgets to the built-in Battery field, and alert before batteries die with conditions like "Battery is less than 30". Battery conditions are checked on every reading and again the moment a fresh battery reading arrives, so a sharp drop alerts right away. Battery is also available to whole-account workflows and Count widget conditions.

  • Battery in the API and exports. Device objects from the public API now include the latest battery reading with its timestamp and source, and the Device List CSV export gains battery columns.

  • Blues Notehub integration. Connect your Blues Notehub project from Account settings, Integrations, Blues Notehub: create a connection, paste the generated webhook URL and secret into a Notehub route, and your Notecard telemetry flows into Pulse. Setup is a one-time route with no data transformation on the Notehub side. See the Blues Notehub guide for the full walkthrough.

  • Devices appear as they sync. Notecards that reach your webhook before being registered show up in a Discovered devices list on the connection for one-click adoption; you can also pre-register by IMEI from Inventory.

  • No decoder needed for flat JSON. When a profile's field names match the keys in the Notehub body, values map automatically at ingest. For anything more involved, the decoder editor now loads real recent payloads from devices on the profile and includes a JSON starter template.

  • Sync-aware offline detection and location. Offline detection for Notecards follows each device's sync interval rather than a fixed timer, and device location updates automatically from Notehub's best-location data (tower-based by default, GPS where enabled).

Blues Notehub is plan-gated; contact ioX-Connect to enable it for your workspace.

Enhancements

  • Export the Fleet Device List. Click Export to download the currently displayed device list as a CSV file for Excel or another spreadsheet app. The export follows your current search and filters, and includes only the columns shown in your saved table layout, in the same order.

Bug fixes

  • Geo location fields now show which coordinate they hold. The profile's Fields tab labels each Geo location field as Latitude, Longitude, or Combined, and warns when the fields cannot produce a device position (for example two Latitude fields and no Longitude), which previously left the device location and Tracker map empty with no explanation. The field editor no longer preselects Latitude silently: choosing the coordinate is now required, and a wrongly matched field is flagged right in the fields list.

1.129.6 - 19 July 2026

Developer's note

Two big things this week. The Count widget grew up: counting now reads like a sentence (of which devices, count the ones matching one clear condition), and every count explains itself in plain English. And alarms got a spine: every workflow now has a clear owner, alerts reach everyone they are for, and acknowledging is a real action that clears the alarm for every viewer and records who took it. Dashboards, the fleet page, and the inbox now always tell the same story.

New features

  • Acknowledge alarms wherever you can see them. Acknowledging is now its own action on Status widgets and device dashboards: anyone who can see an alarm can acknowledge it, it clears for every viewer at once, and the widget shows who did it ("Acknowledged by ..."). Read-only users see the alarm without the button.

  • Reading a notification no longer silently clears alarms. Marking a notification read (including "Mark all read") is purely an inbox action now; the device's alarm stays lit until someone actually acknowledges it.

  • Alerts from managed workflows reach the people with the devices. Accounts now get notifications for alarms raised by workflows their provider manages on their devices. Previously those alarms lit up dashboards but never appeared in the inbox and could not be acknowledged.

  • Workflow ownership. Every workflow belongs to the side that created it, and only its owner can change, pause, or delete it. Managed workflows appear read-only with a "Managed by" tag; workspace admins get an Owner column and a one-click "Open in ..." shortcut into the owning account.

  • Mute a managed workflow for your account. A switch on the Workflows list silences a provider-managed workflow's alerts for your account only, without touching the workflow or anyone else's view.

  • Choose who sees a workflow's alarms. Workflow authors at the workspace level can keep a workflow's alerts "Workspace team only" for internal monitoring, or share them with the accounts holding the devices (the default).

  • Notifications inbox: filter by account. Workspace admins can narrow the inbox to a single account, or to workspace-level items only.

  • Choose which device profiles accounts can clone. Cloning can now be allowed or blocked per profile via the new Sub-account cloning setting in the profile's Edit basics dialog. A blocked profile can't be cloned by accounts and keeps its decoder hidden from them; cloning stays allowed by default.

  • Count widget: populations and conditions. The Count widget's filters are rebuilt around a simple sentence: of a population, count the items matching a condition. The population can be a site, a network, a device profile, or a hand-picked set of up to 50 devices or gateways. The condition is a single clear choice: All, Online, Offline, Alerting (optionally at one level), Needs attention, or a Field condition. A live readback line in the editor spells out exactly what the number means, e.g. "Counting offline devices at site Plant A."

  • Count devices that need attention. A new condition counts devices that are offline or have an active alert at any level: the single "something is wrong" number that previously took two widgets and mental math.

  • Signal conditions across the whole fleet. Signal Quality, RSSI, and SNR conditions no longer require picking a device profile first: "count devices with signal quality below 50%" now works across any population.

  • Field conditions follow your selection. Hand-picked devices that all share one profile unlock that profile's full field catalog for threshold counts; mixed selections keep the universal signal fields.

Enhancements

  • Count widget drill-down. The items window is wider so longer sensor names fit on one line, carries a plain-English subtitle describing exactly what is being counted, and the list is now always produced by the same query as the number itself, so the two can never disagree.
  • Existing Count widgets keep working. Saved widgets migrate automatically and keep counting exactly what they did, including older alarm counts and combined filters from the previous design.

Bug fixes

  • Widget filter pickers stay in your workspace. The site and network pickers in the Count and Gateways widget settings now only ever list options that belong to the active workspace.
  • Tier editing works after a subscription change. Saving an account tier no longer fails when its stored features include something your subscription no longer covers. Changed values are still checked against your subscription; carried-over features that exceed it stay stored but inactive, and the editor now flags them inline so you can keep or remove them.

1.123.4 - 10 July 2026

Developer's note

This week your dashboards learn to tell time. The new State Timeline widget draws a device's state as colored bands across the day, week, or month: motion and no-motion blocks from an occupancy sensor, machine running hours derived from a current reading, or a device's full online / offline history reconstructed from its check-ins. It is honest about silence too: when a device stops reporting, the band turns into a hatched "no data" stretch instead of pretending the last state carried on. Hover any band for its start, end, and duration, and turn on the summary row for per-state totals at a glance. Workflow alert emails also get more flexible: the Send email action now accepts individual addresses typed straight onto the node, so a one-off recipient no longer needs a notification group.

New features

  • State Timeline widget: state bands over time. Where the Status widget shows a device's state right now, the State Timeline shows how it got there: one horizontal track for the selected time range, split into colored bands you can hover for start, end, and duration. Bind a true/false or text field and every value becomes a band; bind a numeric field and a single threshold rule splits it into two states, so an AC current reading becomes machine running hours; or pick Connectivity mode for a device's online / offline history with no field at all. Every state's label and color is yours to set, silence longer than the device's offline threshold renders as a hatched "no data" band rather than stretching the last state, and an optional summary row totals each state for the window, e.g. Running 16h 05m (67%). It works on workspace dashboards and profile dashboards alike; see the State Timeline page in the widget reference for the full walkthrough.

Enhancements

  • Workflow emails to individual addresses. The Send email action no longer requires a notification group: type up to 5 individual email addresses directly on the node, alongside or instead of groups, and addresses outside your workspace work too. Everyone gets exactly one email, even if they appear in a group and are typed individually, and each recipient still honors their own email notification preference. For larger recipient lists, notification groups remain the way to go.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed Status widget settings (Field rules variant) accepting a bound field that doesn't belong to the selected device's profile. The mis-binding used to save silently and render as "Unknown"; it's now rejected when you save, with the same clear error other widgets give.

1.121.3 - 5 July 2026

Developer's note

This week devices learn to keep a calendar: a new Date field type captures real dates like an install date against a device, and a new today() formula function turns them into living numbers such as days of remaining life, ready for dashboards and alerts. Dashboards also gain a Set Value widget for writing a device's stored values, dates included, straight from a dashboard, alongside a visual refresh across the widget set: redesigned gauges, dark-mode map tiles, themed chart legends, and loading placeholders that replace the old blank flash. The Fleet lists also become yours to shape. A new Columns button on the Device List and Gateways tabs lets every user choose which columns they see and drag them into their preferred order, with the layout saved to their profile per workspace. Partner accounts also get a Sub-account quick filter on both lists to cut straight to one customer's hardware. Dashboards get several fixes too: state toggles now show live device state for every member role, Table columns set to Last always show a device's last known value, however long ago it reported, with an optional age hint, and in-progress widget edits no longer vanish when live data refreshes behind them. And a long-standing layout quirk is fixed: the Name column no longer vanishes on narrower screens.

New features

  • Date fields on device profiles. Fields can now hold a real calendar date, not a text stand-in. Add a Date field to a profile (e.g. install_date), then pick each device's date with a date picker on the device's Fields tab or through a Set Value widget on any dashboard; no telemetry is needed, so a date can be captured the moment a device is registered. Formulas gain a today() function, and date fields count as whole days inside them, so a formula field like 365 - (today() - install_date) shows each device's remaining service life in days, always current on dashboards, and a workflow can alert on it like any other number.   • Choose your columns on the Fleet lists. The Device List and Gateways tabs now have a Columns button: tick columns on or off, drag to reorder, and the table follows instantly. Your layout saves to your profile automatically, per workspace, so it's waiting for you on your next sign-in; Reset to default puts everything back. The Device List starts with DevEUI, Serial, Name, Primary/Secondary, Health, Signal, and Last seen, with Sub-account, Tags, Site, and Network available to add; the Gateways tab starts with GatewayEUI, Serial, Name, Health, and Last seen.
  • Set Value widget. A new dashboard widget sets a device's stored field value straight from a dashboard: pick the device and a static field, then set its value, a Date field's date included, without leaving the dashboard. It's configuration, not a reading, so no chart point is recorded and no rules fire. It's a plan feature.

Enhancements

  • Filter the Fleet lists by sub-account. Partner-level users can narrow the Device List and the Gateways tab to a single sub-account, or pick No sub-account to see hardware still held at the partner level. The filter works alongside the existing search and Health, Site, Network, and Profile filters.
  • Table columns can show the value's age. A new Show value age option on Table widget columns (off by default) appends how long ago the value was reported, e.g. (5d ago), so a reading from a device that reports rarely is clearly dated.
  • A visual refresh across dashboard widgets. Gauges have been redesigned across the battery, signal, radial, and linear styles; the signal gauge now adapts its bands to the bound field's unit. Map widgets switch to dark map tiles in dark mode, chart legends follow your theme, status colors are clearer with automatically readable text on any background, and every widget shows a loading placeholder on first paint plus a clearer message when it has nothing to show yet.
  • Find widgets faster when building a dashboard. The Add widget picker is now searchable, and the Button widget's appearance controls were reorganized for clearer, more consistent styling.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed dashboard Toggle widgets stuck on a gray "Unknown" for Operators and Viewers. The state reading behind the switch was blocked for those roles, so a switch with a bound state field never colored in; it now shows the same live state Administrators see. Operators and Viewers can also open a device's detail page again.
  • Fixed Table widget cells showing no value for devices that hadn't reported within the dashboard's time range. A column set to Last now always shows the device's most recent value, no matter how long ago it reported, matching what the Fleet lists show.
  • Fixed dashboard config panels discarding unsaved edits when live data refreshed behind them. Your in-progress widget settings now stay put until you save or cancel, and edit mode is a proper draft: changes apply when you save and roll back cleanly when you cancel.
  • Restored the ability to set a chart's Y-axis minimum and maximum.
  • Fixed the Device List's Name column disappearing on narrower screens. The table now always reserves room for the name, scrolling sideways when space runs short instead of silently dropping the column; the same fix applies to the Gateways tab.

1.107 - 25 June 2026

Developer's note

This week brings dashboard controls to the fore. A new Toggle widget puts an on/off (or open/close) switch on your dashboards: one control that sends an on-command and an off-command to a device or a whole multi-cast group, with live state, four switch styles, and instant feedback. Dashboard buttons were polished too, with one-click style presets that make them read as real call-to-action buttons, and a button can now fire a multi-cast group directly. Alongside that, a round of Fleet and dashboard polish: the Device List updates health live and sorts online hardware to the top, device tags and serial numbers are visible and searchable, value widgets can show their reading time, charts can print values with a clearer time axis, and multi-casting groups keep a full execution history. This week also reworks account roles: clearer names (Administrator, Operator, Viewer), control over which sections each role can see, and the option to let a trusted non-admin invite and manage members without being able to grant a role higher than their own.

New features

  • Toggle widget: an on/off switch for your dashboards. Combine an on-command and an off-command into a single switch instead of two separate buttons. Send to one device or to a whole multi-cast group, choose from four switch styles (pill, segmented, wall, power) with On/Off or Open/Close labels, and let the switch reflect the device's real state in color. For a state you set yourself, flipping the switch updates it instantly and remembers its position across page loads, and rapid taps collapse to a single command so you don't queue a stack of downlinks. It's a plan feature.
  • Send a multi-cast from a dashboard button. A Button widget can now fire a multi-cast group's downlink, with a confirmation step, so a single tap actuates a whole group of devices straight from the dashboard.
  • More control over what each role can see. Account roles are now Administrator, Operator, and Viewer, and you can choose, per account, which sections each role sees: Dashboards, Fleet, Workflows, Notifications, and Analytics. For example, you can give someone a Dashboards-only login. The role editor now separates Visibility from Permissions, and any capability your subscription tier doesn't include is clearly marked, so a granted feature always matches the tier.
  • Let a trusted non-admin invite and manage members. Grant the member-management permission to any role to create a controlled "can invite teammates" login, for example a Viewer who can also add members. A built-in safeguard means no one can invite or assign a role higher than their own.

Enhancements

  • Button style presets. The Button widget gains one-click style presets (Solid, Pill, Accent, Accent pill, Outline, Soft) that use your brand colors, plus size and shadow options, so a button reads as a real call-to-action instead of a flat label.

  • Online devices and gateways rise to the top. The Device List and the Fleet gateway list now sort online first, then by most recently seen, so the hardware reporting right now stays near the top.

  • Device tags on the list. Tags set on a device now show in a Tags column on the Device List, and the search box matches them too, so you can find every device carrying a given label.

  • Serial numbers on the device and gateway lists. Both lists now show a Serial column, and you can search by serial number, so you can match a record to the hardware in hand.

  • Edit a device's serial number. Partner Admins can now change a device's serial number on its Configuration tab, the same as for gateways. Changing it after a device is claimed is fine and doesn't affect the assignment.

  • Value widgets can show the reading time. A new Show last reading time option (on by default) prints a small as of ... caption under the number so viewers can tell how fresh it is.

  • Chart value labels. A new Show value labels option prints each data point's value on the chart, so viewers don't have to hover to read it. Best on sparse series.

  • Clearer chart time axis. On short windows with sub-daily buckets (e.g. 1-hour windows), the chart's time axis now shows the time, not just the date, and axis labels are darker and easier to read.

  • See what you sent to a multi-casting group. Every multi-cast execution is now recorded with its downlink template, payload, and outcome. Open a group to see its full Execution history, newest first, and expand any entry to view the exact payload that went out. The group list also shows which downlink was fired last, not just when.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed signal columns (Signal Quality, Signal strength, Signal-to-noise) showing blank in History table widgets. They now populate from each uplink.
  • Fixed the Device List showing a device as Offline while it was actually reporting. Health and last-seen now update live as readings arrive, without a manual page refresh.
  • Fixed bar charts where the first and last bars could run past the edges of the plot and overlap the axis numbers.

Developer's note

This release opens up sub-account self-service. You can let customers claim devices and non-cellular gateways they physically hold, by DevEUI or gateway EUI plus serial number, and clone and customize their own device profiles, all switched on per sub-account tier and capped by per-sub limits. It also adds device profile cloning for your own workspace and a downlink expiry that drops a command to an offline device instead of firing it late, plus a round of usability polish across device profiles and the gateway overview.

New features

  • Let sub-accounts claim their own devices. Mark inventory devices as available to claim, and a sub-account whose tier allows it can add a device they hold by entering its DevEUI and serial number, one at a time or by pasting a batch. The serial acts as a second factor, so only someone with the physical device can claim it. Mark devices claimable per device, in bulk from Inventory, or with a Claimable column in the CSV import.
  • Let sub-accounts claim non-cellular gateways. The same flow for gateways: mark a non-cellular gateway available to claim, and a sub-account claims it by gateway EUI and serial. Cellular gateways are excluded so a managed data plan never transfers with the hardware, and a per-sub limit caps how many a sub-account may claim.
  • Let sub-accounts customize device profiles. Turn the feature on for a sub-account's tier and they can clone one of your profiles into their own copy, tailor its decoder, fields, downlinks, and dashboard, then point their own devices at it. Each copy is independent, so your originals are never touched, and a per-sub limit caps how many copies they can own.
  • Clone a device profile. Copy an existing profile, its LoRaWAN settings, decoder, fields, formulas, Primary and Secondary display defaults, and downlink templates, into a brand-new profile in one step. You'll find Clone in the ... menu on the Settings -> Device Profiles list, and in the profile editor header. The copy is fully independent, so editing it never touches the original. The profile's dashboard, workflows, and any per-device settings aren't carried over.
  • Set a downlink expiry on a device. Give a device a downlink expiry on its Configuration tab so a queued command is discarded if it can't be delivered within the time you set, instead of firing late when an offline device reconnects. Leave it blank to never expire. The same control is available over the API as a per-call expiresInSeconds option when you send a downlink. Useful for actuators like valves and switches, where a stale command could leave the device in the wrong state.

Enhancements

  • Unique profile names. Device profile names now have to be unique within your workspace. If you try to create or clone a profile with a name that's already in use, you'll be asked to pick a different one, so you don't end up with accidental duplicates.
  • Search your device profiles. The Settings -> Device Profiles list now has a search box. Filter by name, region, or MAC version to find the profile you want when your catalog grows.
  • Search the profile picker on import. When you bulk import devices into inventory, the device profile dropdown is now searchable, so you can type part of a name or region instead of scrolling a long list.
  • Clearer guidance when creating a blank profile. The regional parameters field is now labeled in plain language, and the MAC version and regional parameters fields each have an (i) help tooltip explaining what they mean and when to change them.
  • Tidier gateway overview. On a gateway's Overview tab, the location map now matches the height of the details panel for a more consistent layout.

Developer's note

A big week for ioX-Pulse. Multi-site lets you organize your estate by physical location: build a campus, building, and floor hierarchy, attach your networks, devices, and gateways, and monitor each location's health from a live site tree. The Fleet section got a facelift with cleaner overview cards and a new Fleet Map that plots every located device and gateway on one map, with clusters that turn red when a sensor inside is alerting. The public API can now act on your fleet, not just read it: send downlinks, run multicast groups, and read networks and sites. Plus gateway backhaul tracking, live-data previews while editing profile dashboards, and a few fixes.

New features

  • Sites: organize your estate by location. Create sites for your campuses, buildings, and floors, nested up to three levels, and attach networks, devices, and gateways to them. You'll find them under Operations -> Sites. Each site can also hold a postal address and an on-site contact.
  • The site tree. The Sites page shows your locations as a live monitoring tree. Each site and network branch carries rolled-up badges: how many devices are online, plus active alarm and warning counts summed across everything beneath it. Device leaves show a status dot, green for online, gray for offline, amber for a warning, and a red pulsing dot for an active alarm, and search jumps straight to any site, network, or device.
  • Filter your fleet by site. On the Fleet device and gateway lists, pick a site to see only the equipment at that location, with a new Site column showing where each item sits. You can set a device's or gateway's site in bulk from the Fleet lists, or one at a time from its Location screen.
  • Restrict a team member to a site. Tie an operator or viewer to a single site so they only ever see that location's devices, gateways, dashboards, readings, and alerts. Set it when you invite a member, or from the Members list.
  • See where each reading was taken. Telemetry now records the site a device was at when each reading arrived. A device that moves between sites keeps its older readings attributed to where they were actually taken, shown as a Site column on the device's Events tab and in History table widgets.
  • Sites in the API and webhooks. The public API gains a read-only sites resource and a siteId on devices, gateways, and networks, and you can filter those lists, and a device's history, by site. Webhooks can be filtered to a site and its sub-locations, and every webhook payload now includes the site the device was at when the event fired.
  • Fleet Map tab. Fleet gets a fourth tab that plots every assigned device and gateway with a location on one interactive map: street and satellite views, clustering for dense sites, a home button that snaps back to the full-fleet view, and click-through popups showing each pin's status and last uplink with a link to the detail page. A filter panel narrows the map to device or gateway pins, or to online, offline, or alerting devices only. A note above the map counts anything that has no location set yet.
  • Map clusters show the worst state inside them. On the Fleet Map and the dashboard Geo Map widget, cluster badges are color-coded by the worst state of the pins they contain: red and pulsing when a sensor is alerting, gray when something is offline, amber when rate-limited, green when all is healthy. A problem inside a collapsed cluster is now visible at any zoom level.
  • Choose your landing page. Pick where you land after signing in to a workspace, on your Profile page: Dashboards or any of the Fleet tabs (Overview, Device List, Gateways, Fleet Map). New members land on Fleet: Overview by default.
  • Admins can set a member's landing page. When inviting a member, or from Edit profile on the Members list, admins can choose where that member lands after signing in. Members can still change it themselves.
  • Health quick filter on the device list. A new quick filter on Fleet's Device List narrows the table to Online, Offline, Alerting, or Warning devices, using the same definitions as the health chips on each row. Combine it with search and the network filter to isolate exactly the devices that need work.
  • Warnings on the Fleet overview. Alarms now get two cards: Active alarms counts critical alerts, and a new Warnings card counts warning-level ones. Click either card to open your notifications inbox pre-filtered to that severity, with the read filter set to show everything.
  • Gateway backhaul type. When you register or edit a gateway, you can now record its backhaul: how it reaches the internet (Cellular, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Other). The backhaul shows on the gateway list and at the top of the gateway detail page, so you can see each site's connection at a glance. It's optional metadata and doesn't affect networking.
  • Preview profile dashboards with live data. While editing a device profile's dashboard, pick any device on that profile to seed the editor with its real telemetry. Adjust a binding, threshold, or layout and see the result right away, without opening a separate device page. Your choice is remembered per profile, and actions such as acknowledging an alert are disabled while previewing so you can't change the device by accident.
  • Control your fleet over the API. External systems can now send a downlink to a device, or fan one out to a multicast group, through the ioX-Pulse API, using the same named downlink templates as the app. Write access uses dedicated API-key scopes and is enabled per plan.
  • Read networks over the API. List your networks and their members, and filter the device and gateway lists by network, directly from the API.

Enhancements

  • A refreshed Fleet overview. The headline cards have a cleaner design with icons and larger numbers. Devices and Gateways show an online-ratio bar (green when everything reports, amber when something's offline) and click through to their lists; the uplink card shows a 24-hour trend line next to the count. The Needs attention panel swaps its heavy borders for color-tinted sections so severity reads at a glance, and a healthy fleet now gets a friendlier all-clear state.
  • Straight to gateway stats. Clicking a gateway in the Needs attention list now opens that gateway's Stats tab, where the diagnostic detail lives, instead of landing on its Location tab.
  • Tidier Register gateway form. The Register gateway form now uses a two-column layout, so it fits on screen without forcing you to scroll.
  • EAMS Technologies listed first. When you create a device profile from a template, EAMS Technologies now appears at the top of the vendor list.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed the Value widget so it can display text fields. A widget bound to a text field, such as a valve status like "Closing", now shows that value instead of "Could not load telemetry". For text fields, number-only formatting options are hidden and the aggregation defaults to "Last".
  • Fixed the dashboard Geo Map widget so the full map loads. Previously the map could render only halfway, leaving a gray strip on one side until you resized the widget or switched tabs.

Developer's note

This release puts network management at your fingertips and opens up self-service partner onboarding, so new partners can sign up and manage their own subscriptions and add-ons without waiting on us. We've also made gateways easier to find with registry search, added in-context help links across Administration, clarified which dashboard widgets your plan includes, and fixed a sign-in issue affecting partners on custom domains.

New features

  • Networks. Create and manage your LoRaWAN networks, with support for larger fleets.
  • Self-service partner signup and billing. New partners can sign up and manage their subscription, with plan changes and add-ons handled in-app.

Enhancements

  • Gateway registry search. Find gateways faster with search in the gateway registry.
  • Quicker access to help. Empty states in Administration now link straight to the relevant help guide, so it's easier to learn a feature as you set it up.
  • Clearer tier-gated widgets. When you add a dashboard widget, the "Tier-gated" label now shows only on widgets your plan doesn't include yet. Those appear grayed out rather than hidden, so you can see at a glance what an upgrade would unlock, while widgets you already have are offered without the label.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a sign-in issue that could route partners on a custom domain to the wrong login, showing an incorrect "invalid email or password" message.
  • Notification group members: a partner-level group now offers only partner users, and a sub-account group only its own users, so recipients stay within the right account.
  • Fixed the device profile downlink template editor so the form no longer runs off the bottom of the screen when the encoder is more than a few lines long.
